Maybe the attack wasn't so rightfully justified, but Saddam is a d**k and deserved to be dethroned. Now if the Iraqi just could establish a decent leadership in their country, instead of bombing themselves and everybody around, so the Americans & others could come home.

it was full y justafied. WMD's were a sidenote on the politicatns agendas. it was just played up by the meDIA. we were really in there to kill some terrorists and destroy their training grounds.

Yes, agreed. But as with all wars, the soldiers f**k around too much, pillaging and stuff. That's not right, hasn't ever been, yet still in every invasion it will happen. And no offence to the Americas patriots here in any way, I'm a Finnish patriot.

Iraq is a country in the middle east. The first civilization ever, called Sumer, was established there a loooong time ago. That's what I think about Iraq. And no one can dispute /that!/
This is a great idea for a board, by the way.

But seriously, although I hate the concept of the war, I have to say that they had good reason to go into Iraq. And they can't leave now, because if they do, then everything they've done will be ruined and made pointless. I feel bad for the individual people fighting in Iraq, but on the other hand, sometimes War Is Peace. (That's from the book 1984.)

and we cant have loyers running the war on terror or we will never win. for instance las weak we had a bunch or ferrorists in the drones sight just having a fenurakl for a dead terrorist.
now we could have had a killer drone there in aobut 1 houer or somthing i forget teh time but it was preety quick. but becaus we askeed the lou=yeers if we could they said no they are o na grave yard. we dident kill like 120 of them adn were gana pay for that mastake.
oh and they diddent give us the funeral grounds. the terrorists killed a bunch of poeple when =they were having a fenureal for a govener.

War is our modern form of genetic cleansing. The stupid ones die. Of course, a few good ones die along with the stupid ones, but sacrifices must be made. Theres alot of cleansing going on in iraq. If you catch my drift.

So the States attacked Iraq because of weapons of mass destruction, right? But back in 2001 Bush said very clearly that the Iraqis didn't have enough resources to actually construct such weapons. They also made it very clear that Iraq wasn't an actual threat to anyone?
I wonder, how can thing change so radically in just two years.. Sounds quite impossible. But I hope that the Iraqis realize that the Americans are trying to make things better for the people there. I mean what are they trying to prove by suicide-bombing civilian targets.. It's a no win situation.

"They also made it very clear that Iraq wasn't an actual threat to anyone?" do you really want to say that after all the people killed? i thnk we have established that they were a thread sence we started.
"ut back in 2001 Bush said very clearly that the Iraqis didn't have enough resources to actually construct such weapons." well there are a veriety of wepons avalible on the black market. one of the worst is the WMD kind. there are many solvet made nuckes avalible on the market. and with this in mind having tha ablilty to make these wepons and the abliity to aquire these wepons is a completly diffrent thing.
i need clarifacation on this topic "I wonder, how can thing change so radically in just two years.. Sounds quite impossible. But I hope that the Iraqis realize that the Americans are trying to make things better for the people there. I mean what are they trying to prove by suicide-bombing civilian targets.. It's a no win situation."

Well, I guess you are right. There might be some black market.. I never really thought of that.
What do the terrorists think they achieve by suicide bombing.. in my opinion absolutely nothing. I can't see the point in their actions.. And it's hard for the soldiers there to recognize who are the bad guys.. This is what I meant with the no-win situation.
